about
J is for Joker is a part of Carolyn Thorn's A-Z Songwriting project. It was originally written on acoustic guitar and sung. The strumming was to represent the laughter of the iconic Joker in the Batman chronicles. Working with Digibilly gave the song the heavier elements that the song missed in the vocal lines. The lyrics emphasize the characterization and charming characteristics of the Joker as the chuckle of the laughter of the Joker can be heard behind. While listening to J is for Joker, you'll notice the clash and resolution between folk and indie vocals and Drum & Bass, electronic beats.
